I have a manual 97 z28 Camaro and i was looking for ways to get more horsepower (Please dont send the most expensive ideas)

basic idea...easier air in...easier exhaust out. and since it's a m6...a nice shifter makes it much more fun to drive

 

A good tuneup is always a good start.

 

like said above, get the car working perfect with a tune up and then move to intake, exhaust,and then try to get more spark and fuel. then you can get gears. 3.73 are nice gears for everyday driving. im trying to get more out of my car too and so far with exhaust and intake i can feel it not gasping for air. i have gears and i am very satisfied with the 3.73's ,makes the engine work less and makes the car peppy. i gave it some performance plugs and wires and new opti, new injectors and everything.
