my car has the mods in sig...i get about 13mpg city and 17.7 on the highway....it has a tune from pcm4less but its obvious it runs really rich b/c at idle when you are standing behind it it burns your eyes b.c the gas smell is so strong..I am guessing they set it up to run rich to be safe b/c it was a brand new engine and all...what gas mileage is everyone else with a cam getting? Should i send the pcm back out to be re-flashed? Thanks,

Hey,I have the 502...I average right around 20mpg overall.That is running a little rich too.Yours should do a little better...if ya can keep your foot out of it?Maybe..Try a reflash. : )

 

I get about the same depending on how I drive. The best I've seen was ~17 mpg and that was on the highway.

 

Also need to factor in what gears you have. My A4 w/3.23s only gets about an average 15-16mph, about half and half hwy/city driving. Stock it only got about 18mpg with a perfect tune both befroe and after heads cam. BLMs are always 126-130.

Ive got an Isky 225/234 112LSA cam with LT's and 4.10 gears with a M6 and Im getting around 25 on the highway and around 14 in the city if I baby it. Its actually still got some room in the tune to improve power and economy as well.. Just havnt had a chance to get back on the dyno.

 

Im getting about 14-15 in town 17 highway.

 

if you have a laptop and cable you can download TTS Datamaster for 20 free logs. Send a log to Bryan and he will fix you up and email the new program to you to upload. that's what i did. you also need C.A.T.S winflash which is also free for 30 days
