Getting the fuel pump to turn on...

My car has been sitting for over a year... I am putting to the motor back in tonight what i need to know is, is their a way to jump the fuel pump so that i can get the fuel out of the tank without dropping the tank...

The simple way would be to suck it out of the tank.

You can always jump the wire at the harness to make it turn on I guess an let it pump out the line.

If you check right beside the PCM, where the wireloom enters it, there will be a a wire (only one), sitting there dangling. It has a connector at the end of it.

It will be approx 3" from the PCM itself, just hanging there. Connect this wire to the positive of the battery and that will run the pump as long as its connected.
