Went with 3.42's and love them(except for a little whine). Car still drops into 2nd from 60mph and I forget what the rpm's are at 75mph, but no where near the above for 3.73's

how do u know what stock gears r in ur car? and what kinda rpms do u turn w/ a m6 w/ 3.42s on the highway?

You could check your RPO codes in the glovebox.

GU2 Axle, Rear 2.73 Ratio
GU5 Axle, Rear 3.23 Ratio
GU6 Axle, Rear 3.42 Ratio

If you have an M6 you probably have 3.42's.
