Gear Difference
Gear Difference
Ok this question came to my mind when a member on this board said the difference between a 2.73 Z28 and a 3.23 Z28 was i think .4 seconds 0-60.
Well how much difference would it make to have two exact Z28 Camaros one having 2.73's and one having 3.23s? What about 3.73s? In the quarter, from a roll, or from a dig? Thanks

it would be a difference you can tell when you do gears 4.10 is tooooo big for you 3.73 is the biggest you would want but if you drive your car alot then you would want like 3.42 and if you looking to get gears im selling mine (3.42) i just put in 4.10s and its alot faster but i lost alot of top end speed and i have no traction I think 3.73 would of been good for me but 4.10 are fun but all my tires do is spin and i know i will be blowing my rear sooner or later and i get like 130 to a tank of gas
but if you want my gears get em while their hot email me let me know dmx4ever3@aol.com

oh and im not sure about the time but if you can't hook you get a bad time so like i said too big can be bad on a stock rear but the right tire you will hook but u may blow the stock rear
and ill say you would get like .5 better time at least
