Gauging Interest with custom intake elbows

I have found these elbows and could possibly get them made in mass production for our cars if there are enough people interested. This will get rid of the "donky dong" and give us another alternative than having to get the metal trickflow or another cheap rubber 1LE that rips easily. I haven't found out a price yet but I just wanted to see if anyone one would be interested. I have 2 pics of them on my webshots site. Check them out and tell me what you think....

No it doesn't have the hole but I am sure that wouldn't be too hard to do.

I am not too sure. Some place in town fabbed this up for someone and I was wondering if anyone else would be interested. I don't think this can be picked up in a hardware store. This was custom made by a local business.

it would be pretty nice since it is smooth all the way through without all the wrinkles in the stock one, which to me seems like it would make the incoming air a little turbulent, but this one looks like it wouldn't have any restriction at all

Do these elbows actually increase HP? Or are they more for just looks?

Cool idea, but did you know that the "cheap" 1LE elbow is more durable than the stock elbow? The stock elbows rip all the time...it's pretty tough to rip a 1LE elbow...

Well I thought all of the rubber elbows for the LT1's from GM were made cheaply and ripped fairly easily but I may be wrong..

LISTEN TO YOU ALL!

We are talking about a PIECE OF RUBBER!!!

This thing is made and costs someone cents to make.

it can be had for dollars

if you know the right place i bet you could easily find a replacement smooth rubber elbow that is more then 3 inches around witht he right curve.

WE HAVE TO FIND THIS PLACE!

It would be nice if it had a place for the iat sensor. For that price you could just go with the 1LE and call it a day...

I want a new elbow too but I am not sure what is cheap. I dont want to buy a 1Le because I am going to a blower setup soon and it is unwise to buy somthing for a few months just to turn around and sell it for less.

I am going to construct somthing of metal or pvc and rubber elbows and see what I can come up with. When I find somthing good I will post it. If it isn't almost free i'm not doing it...

ElectronBlueC3, please get in contact with Jason or Chris about this. While you don't have these yet, people often times abuse the "gauging interest" type threads to get a listing of names to sell these to once they actually are being sold.

Please email Jason ( jason@camaroz28.com ) or Chris (chris@camaroz28.com ) and if they don't have a problem with this, they'll unlock the thread

Thanks!
