I changed the oil in my car today and it had a faint smell of gas in it. I also have trouble starting the car sometimes i have to hold the peatal to the floor to make it start, the battery cranks slowly, and the plugs are brand new as of last night. Is it flooding? The old plugs were poorly gapped .65-.73. Any ideas? Could it be where the battery is not spinning it over fast enuff and the injectors are sprayin more fuel than the battery can turn? I also after running hammer down i can often thro flames. Wires are stock, fuel filter is new, injectors i suppose are stock i havent changed them but the previous owners might have. thanx guys

 

How many miles on it?

Sounds like you need rings. Do a compression or leakdown test.
