gains with my setup with new gears

i was looking on ebay and found some gears taht range from 3.42 to 4.11 with my A4 what is the best selection? i cant remember but i think with the auto the 4.11s arnt very good on the highway or anything like that?

I've got 3.73s. They tack out at about 2800 @ 70ish. Still drivable, and makes the car a whole new beast.

hum, so u can go pretty nicely on the highway then with the 3.73s?

Yep. I changed mine from 2.73 to 3.73 and it seemed a lot bigger difference than it is. Anything under 3,000 at cruising speed is safe. I saw about 5 tenths gain in the quarter with sticky tires.

i will be going from the 3.23s. any change in torqueness?
