Gained .6 tenths and nearly 5mph from Kook's LT's..
Old best:
14.679
97.147mph
R/T .788
60' 2.288
NEW BEST:
14.091
101.56mph
R/T .842
60' 2.364
TRACK CONDITIONS WERE WAAAAAAY BETTER BEFORE SOMEONE CALLS B.S. My old times were taken during summer here in AZ. My old best was ran at 10:00PM at 95*F.....last night it was about 65*F at 10:00PM. Same track..elevation is 1200ft.
Since old times I have added Kook's stepped 1 7/8" LT's with Kook's 3" ORY, a cutout, and lowered my car. Car is a 94 Formula A4 with 2.73 gears and NO traction
I really wanted to hit the 13 second barrier.

Re: Gained .6 tenths and nearly 5mph from Kook's LT's..
probably half of that was the 30 degree temp difference, but I'm sure the Kook's helped a bit. might want to work on getting some traction as well, it might get you under 14.

I'm sure the temps/conditions helped a bit. Just an FYI I didn't lose to a single mustang.
To compare times, a manual (I dont know if the new ones have 5spds or 6spds) 2005 mustang GT was cutting 2.0 60's all night. He ran between 14.5 to 14.2 @ 97-99MPH. A 5spd 2000ish GT was running nitto's and pulling 1.9's but only 14.4 at 98mph. Mid 90's GT's and foxbody 5.0's were running 15's...

Re: Gained .6 tenths and nearly 5mph from Kook's LT's..
You'll hit 13's for sure if you get the launch better.
Good honest summary. By the way, what was your exhaust setup before? All stock? Do you still have the stock catback?
I would say that for your E.T., your worse launch this time might cancel out the better weather factor. Not so for your trap speed though. I'm guessing if you ran in identical weather, you would have seen more like a 3.5-4 mph gain, not 4.5 mph.
Just for reference, my MAC midlength headers and Hooker catback gained me 4 mph and 0.6 seconds in virtually identical weather, so your numbers make sense.
