Full throttle, won't shift into 2nd????
When under full throttle at the 1/4 mile she wouldn't shift into second gear. She would just keep jumping off her redline and not shift. Has anyone else experienced this, and what is the problem??

Unplug your battery for 30 mins and see if that fixes it...sounds like the pcm could be off...possibly even the tranny is going bad on you...but being a 95 model it is electronically controlled so I'd start with resetting the pcm.

And no I haven't had the pcm retuned. I was thinking of getting the HPP III because I will be installing a set of 3:42's and wanted to adjust the pcm for that. Also wanted to lower my fan temp. And now I could try to adjust my shift points and firm them up, maybe that could work?

I had the same problem
My car is off the road now because my tranny is shot. I started out with the same problem that you described. I found out the my car had problems when a piece of crap civic decided to race me. I raced him and then when I was expecting my car to shift from first to second, It didn't.
I waited it out and it got worse over time. Now my car is off the road until next year because I am not putting it on the road for 2 months and then taking it off for winter.
My tranny is shot. I forgot to say my car is a 95z28. Your problem may be computer, but the important thing is to check that tranny fluid. If it smells burned and is black or brown, your tranny is shot. There is nothing you can do other than fix it or let it get worse.
