So I am replacing the fuel pump, and i noticed one of the wires in the tank there was cut a little bit, and exposing some of the copper wiring. How can i fix this. Will a little bit of well placed electrical tape hold up in the tank? Any other wire in the car it would be fine, im just not so sure about inside the gas tank though.

 

Go to your local auto parts store and get some liquid tape and let it dry. It will turn into hard rubber and it will never come off
