Angry changing plugs on 94 LT1 z28

What is the best way to approach this, and is there a free websight with instructions. Car runs ok, it just seems like it should have more power. It has 147,000 miles on it.

I dont know if there is a best way, but its hell with stock manifolds. Make sure your car is ice cold before you do them or youll burn the hell out of yourself. I did all of mine without moving a single part. When you start to get stuck on a few try laying across the engine and bending you arm over the side to get to it. Drivers side was easy for me, the only that was tough was the 2nd cylinder on the passenger side. Racheting wrenches help in some cases too. Dont forget that you can get a wrench on the end of the plug socket too.

The best way is to add headers. They really helps on plug installs. I don't know of any guides, but some tips are...
1. Remove the alternator.
2. Get the ones on the back of the passenger side from the bottom.
3. If you have a hard time getting a plug back into the hole put a piece of rubber hose over the end as an extention to get the plug down in the hole.
4. Put anti-seize on the new plugs.

Thats all i can think of that are kind of helpful, everyone else is just gonna say get some bandaids.

its really not that bad, ive done them on several stock f-body's in less than 1 hour, no need to take anything apart or remove anything

i did all the driver side from underneath. the pass. side was a lot more difficult. 4 and 6 were easy from the bottom. just gotta manuever around the Y pipe. 8 and 2 i believe needed a 4" or 6" socket extension. 8 i did from underneath and 2 i did from the top. 2 was the hardest for me because i couldnt see the hole and i could only get 2 fingers on the plug to twist it in. if you have big arms or hands it would probably be a lot easier to remove the alternator and and maybe some other stuff. I cant wait to get my LT's this summer!! should be a million times easier.

To help getting the plugs in try the old way of using a 3/8 fuel line and slide it over the ceramic section. Twist the hose as it is flexible and it will go every time. Works great for tight hard to reach areas. You won't swear as much, I promise
