Is it possible that.....

when a fuel pump is going out...that fuel pressure is so low that a "or" some cylanders are not getting fuel therefore causing spark knock ?

i seem to be having spark knock now....at pretty much all rpm's,especially after engine warms up.

i HAVE ran this car out of gas...a few times, but long ago....not in last 1,000-1,500 miles[6 months ago].

Do a fuel pressure check. Running it out of gas will fry a pump.

 

so...the pump could cause the knock ?

Sure lack of fuel = super lean = knock knock...Boom!
