Fuel Pump or Opti?

I've changed out my spark plugs, wires, and changed my fuel filter but I still have hesitation below 1500RPM and it has to crank a while befoe it starts up. I'm wondering if there is a definite way to know if the Opti is gone or if I need a new fuel pump. Am I just stuck with a 50/50 chance on either one?
BTW, the car is a 1993 Z28 A4.
Thanks

Re: Fuel Pump or Opti?

Attach a fuel pressure test gauge to the fuel rail to rule out fuel pump problems.

Re: Fuel Pump or Opti?

I'll check the coil wire over the weekend and see if that is my problem.
