Fuel pump

My fuel pump died in my 95 trans am. What do you guys think a price should be on one of these because i have called around and brand new they are all 176. Would it be safe to go with a used one, or what have you guys typically done when your fuel pumps have failed as far as upgrading to a better one,and my car is one of the split years on the emissions system and has OBD-I with the OBD-II connector. Can i just jump the computer like the origional OBD-I or do i have to take it to the dealer since the OBD-II scanners will not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks
Cory

Re: Fuel pump

Racetronix kit. Better than stock for $150.

As for replacement, make a trap door inside the car so you don't have to drop the tank. Do a search for instructions.

Re: Fuel pump

Why do you need to do anything with the DLC?

We have stock-type and low-pressure replacements if you do not require the 255L/Hr HP version. You can save yourself a bit of money. These are special order but we can ship the same or next business day. You can place a special order through Thunder Racing.
