fuel pressure release...
Trying to change the fuel filter out...haven' done it in so long I forgot where that pressure release valve thing was... I can't find my manual..all I remember is that is was at the back of the intake manifold somewhere...can anyone help me?
The Schrader valve for the fuel rail is on the back of the intake manifold near the fuel pressure regulator. I don't know what year you have, but on a 93, the valve is on the driver side of the intake manifold.
Be prepared to have plenty of fuel come out when you depress the needle. If you have a fuel pressure gauge with a pressure relief tube, that would be better.

You can never go wrong by refering to Shoebox's Tech pages:
Schrader valve
Pressing the valve core relieves the pressures in the lines. You might also want to unscrew the gas cap to release any pressure buildup in the tank.

i just disconnected my fuel lines last week, not a tidy job, be prepared to have to drain pans ready, just in case
btw, i've never used a pressure gauge with a relief tube, how does that work?
