Fuel pressure regulator shot?

Ok, i've been having some problems with my car, first off it get real crappy mileage, around 20 mpg on hwy in 6th, i replaced my o2's a few weeks ago and it still gets crappy mileage, anyway i took off the vacume line to the fpr and i could smell gas. There is now a slurping/clicking noise on and off while the car is idleing, i think it kinda sounds like it is coming from the fpr, kinda like the diaphram inside is shot, idk it also is not runing as quick as it should and i'm also geting knock retard so i'm not sure if that has anything to do with this, ahhh my car is driving me crazy.

There should be no presence of gas in the vacuum line. Try putting a vacuum tester on the regulator to verify. Sounds like you need a new regulator.
