fuel pressure regulator

fuel pressure regulator

where is the fuel pressure regulator located. I think mine is bad i am dumping way to much cause and its causing the car to bog down real bad in between 1500 and 2000rpms .. if i step on it theres a nice puff of black smoke.. any help guys

the FPR is connected at the end of the Driver's side fuel rail.

does that sound like the issue? its dumping soo much fuel it has got my 2 back plugs caked with carbon

i looked for it today is it suppose to be attached by screws into the intake manifold? can someone take a picture and show me?

it is bolted to the fuel rail. u will have to remove the fuel rail to change it

Wow, that diagram does not help? The regulator is at the left front of the fuel rail. Follow your fuel lines. They go right into it.
