Fuel Pressure Regulator for 383 XFI280 Setup
As the title says, i have been looking around the forums for quite a bit now, i know not to go with aeromotive, and i heard there are some other good brands to go with, my setup is listed below, it is currently being built. the Bosh Design III Injectors i have will work up to 100+ PSI, they are a hefty injector and can be pushed pretty hard, which is why i got them. i just want to get a good FPR to boost the PSI and bring the duty cycle of these injectors back down to around 85%
thanks for all input!

I'm guessing, based on the mod's list, that you are going to need about 37#/HR to achieve an 85% DC. That's going to take about 58psi (4 bar). Are you limited to using a stock LT1-style regulator that bolts into the back of the fuel rail?
Do you have any dyno results that would indicate the peak (flywheel) HP the engine is capable of? That would make the "guessing" easier.

fred, i used your calculations on a previous post to get that EXACT # good call ;p i do not have it all assembled yet, but just trying to cover all of my bases before i get it dyno tuned, so i dont forget something when the time comes. and yes im pretty much stuck on the stock Mounting location, unless there are other options. and 96caprice, i just put in a new racetronix kit with harness, it will be a while before theres enough wear to worry.

As long as you chose the "high pressure" version of the Walbro pump, you won't have a problem. I have a pair of Bosch pumps that run at 58psi, and one of them is now 13 years old.
