Angry fuel pressure gage reads diff everytime

I have an adjustable reg from aeromotive. I have set the pressure to 41 with the vac line off. Some days it is right and some days it could be up to 100psi. this varys sometimes 60, 80, never lower than normal. The gage is correct I have double ck it with a diff gage. Someone help i am stumped. I have thought the only thing it could be is the reg. am i right. has anyone else ever had this prob. it is a first for me

Thanks in advance.

My friend's Trams Am had an Aeromotive AFPR; when we dyno'd the car and adjusted his fuel pressure, the A/F ratio became unstable. We replaced the Aeromotive unit with a TPIS unit, re-dyno'd and the problem was solved. The Aeromotive unit is a POS!

I would say something is wrong with the regulator. I did not think that our pumps were capable of 100psi, though.
