Fuel line help PLEASE

My fuel lines are leaking where they hook into the fuel rails. it is a small drip but 1 it isnt safe and 2 I DONT LIKE IT. I was thinking of going steel braided but what I wanted to know is where do I hook them up to? I know I will need fittings for the fuel rail but where do they get hooked into from there? I dont want to run them all the way back to the tank because that will be VERY $$$$. I was wondering can I somehow mate them into the factory metal lines under the driver side door then route them throgh the transmission tunnel to the fuel rails? if so what fittings do I need and do you have any pictures?

Thanks
Matt
