Wierd noise from shifter region
Ok, im driving to work today and notice this wierd sound coming from right where my shifter is(a4). Its like metal against metal, not a grinding, but kinda like a shaving sound like cutting a rotor. The wierd thig is that t doesnt get louder or faster with more throttle, but it does stop when the car comes to a stop. Does anyone have any ideas, they would be most appreciated, cause i am really lost and confused. The trans was just rebuilt by CPT about a month ago, so i doubt its anything internal.
When it was built, did the same people that built it install it? Because if thats the case, I'd take it back and ask them what needs to be done... Just like if you took your breaks to meineke or however the hell thats spelled ( I dont go there lol) and your breaks were squeakin, youd go back and ask them right?
