well my fuel pump died and i had cut a holw in the hatch befor for the install. anyhow while i was messing with the car checking fuel pressure i smelled gas and saw it dripping from the top of the car. pulled out the trap door i made and there is four metal lines of course- the one metal line to the left side of the car- it has the metal line with a rubber seleve that slides onto it and the rubber line. well it has gas running out of it pretty good? why is this happening? why didn't gm make the rubber line from the car to go over top of the metal line and have it fastened on? i clamped it for now on both ends. any ideas what to do?
