fuel injectors not receiving pulse from computer...
Ok i bought a z28 from a kid who had it sitting for about 6 years or so, he said that the rear was blown.. I got it started at the kids house just enough to see that it wasn't blown or seized, but this was only on ether though. I proceeded to trailer it home, when I got it home I tried getting it to start. I checked the fuel pressure i had 10 lbs so when I took the rear end out to replace what I thought was a blown rear (it was fine just no gear oil) I also took the gas tank down (found out that the 2nd owner put in a window up-top to do the fuel pump after wards). I replaced the fuel pump fuel filter and then I checked the fuel pressure again and still 10 lbs... I then clamped the return line after the regulator and it came sky rocketing up to 48, I replaced the fuel regulator and thought ok this is it I'll have this thing running, I tried starting it nothing... I spray a little ether in there starts right up and burns it up until it stalls ... so i pull an injector connector off and test it with one of those lights that plug into it to see when the computer is getting a signal... Nothing... I checked the fuses on the fuse block under the hood they're fine... I even took the computer to my other camaro and plugged it in and it started it up fine so its not the computer ... what do you recommend that I change/repair next... whats in-between the computer and the fuel injectors that would interrupt the signal?

What year LT1? Injector circuitry differs between 93 (batch fire) and 94-97 (sequential)
Have you verified 12V at the pink wire to each injector (PCM supplies the ground)? Checked the fuses?
Have you scanned it for codes? There is at least one code that shuts down the injectors and pump.

Re: fuel injectors not receiving pulse from computer...
95 lt1 no I just heard about the fact that computer grounds the injectors so my buddy told me to check the pink wire like you said after i posted this I'll have to check them tomorrow. What would make it not ground if the pcm worked in my other car?... Haven't scanned it there was no engine light but I'll check it anyway tomorrow...

Re: fuel injectors not receiving pulse from computer...
Not exactly what I said. There are codes, that shut down the fuel pump or ignition. Some of those codes don't even turn on the SES light. Scan if for codes, and post the codes if you need additional info.
Re: fuel injectors not receiving pulse from computer...
ok i tested the wire has 12v the computer works in another car what else could it be... i followed a wire from the computer that goes to an aftermarket alarm system in the dash board. would that be stopping the injectors or wouldnt that stop the fuel pump and or the spark? should i remove that as well?
Re: fuel injectors not receiving pulse from computer...
tested the wires to the fuel injectors they're good with the 12v... I took out the aftermarket alarm system that was poorly installed to say the least also removed the NOS system just to see if that was maybe faulty and affecting the cars performance... You mentioned that the computer could be on MIL on situation how to I test for that or shut that off?
Re: fuel injectors not receiving pulse from computer...
I think he was just trying to say that there are some codes that turn on the SES (MIL) light, and might shut down the injectors. As noted, most of the codes that do that don't turn on the SES light. There is no general provision in the PCM that shuts down the fuel for all SES lights, and there is no MIL "mode" that needs to be reset after you've had a code that turns on the SES light or shuts down the fuel system.
Exactly what kind of a light did you use to test for the presence of the ground from the PCM - a "noid" light?
