Fuel Injectors......

I need new injectors for my car and think that 36# would be perfect ( anyone can feel free to correct me) but I can not find Ford Racing Injectors in a similar size. They seem to jump from 30 to 42?? I know they used to make this size.

I am trying to go with the smallest size needed to make it easier for Ion to program the CPU. I know that there are the Bosch/Delphi style in the 37# but it seems most people are recommending the Ford Racing Injectors.

I would not mind getting the 30# but I believe they are too small. I will hopefully be making in excess of 400 RWHP with a 388 and ported Trick Flows.

Can anyone help me either with a place to buy 36# Ford injectors or give me some insight as to how good the Bosch/Delphi injectors are????

p.s. I already have installed a 255lph pump.

Re: Fuel Injectors......

A friend of mine has some Delphi/Lucas injectors in his 383 and they work pretty well.

I'm running the 37# Lucas injectors. They are a great injector. Idle quality is great. I'm actually selling them since I am building a supercharged motor. If my friend dosen't pick them up I'll see if your interested in them.

Re: Fuel Injectors......

I'm running the 42 pounders from Racetronix with a PCMFORLESS tune on a basically stock engine, with excellent drivability.

So if you want to get the extra headroom for whatever future reason you might have in mind, then go ahead.
