fuel injector?????

Unhappy fuel injector?????

hey guys on my 94 z28 on the #5 injector their is no power going to the injector so its really idleling rough what do i do?? ..please help..

Are you saying you do not have +12V on the pink wire at the plug for #5? That would mean a break in the wire, somewhere between the pink wire running from the fuse and the #5 injector. #2, #3, #5 and #8 all run off the same fuse, so that sort of limits it to a wiring problem if the other 3 injectors on that circuit are working.

Or is the problem that the injector is not getting a ground from the PCM when its supposed to fire?

well theres been a mistake a little test light was not connected right so i went back to redo it and sure enough the test light was flash meaning there is power going through..the thing is dont know if its a bad fuel injector or something else. ive changed the #5 spark plugs twice and it when away for like 5mins and then the rough idle came back????any ideas what it can be...thanks im just about to give up...

You need to prove that cylinder or any other for that matter is either good or not firing. When it is running rough, remove the injector harness to see if it gets rougher or if there is no change. Then you can start to figure out why it is not firing.

Eliminate the easy items first if the cylinder is not firing. You could:
Take a compression check.
Swap injectors from another cylinder that does not have the problem.
Swap a plug wire from another cylinder that does not have the problem.
