Fuel Injector ?
Re: Fuel Injector ?
LSX motors use a higher fuel pressure so their injectors are rated at that higher pressure, in an LT1 fuel system with stock pressure these would flow no more than your stockers. Any injector swap should be accompanied by a reprogram because they function a little different, with that they can be made to work.
Re: Fuel Injector ?
In affect, the 28# (@ 4 bar) LS1 injectors flow the same as your stock 24# (@ 3 bar) LT1 injectors. You could increase the pressure on your stock injectors to increase their flow capacity. If you bump your fuel pressure to 4 bar (58psi) the stockers will flow 28#. Don't go any higher than that on the pressure though... the RP ball & seat injectors don't like high pressure.
Sounds like you are going to be seeing a serious HP increase with all the parts and money you've put into it.... why are you trying to "poor boy" the injectors? Why not just get some 30, 32 or 36# injectors (depending on your flywheel HP) and do it correctly?

Re: Fuel Injector ?
Well I am just out of money and I have a set of ls1 injectors to get me by until I can get some 30#s. I just wanted to know if the 28# would work for me until I get my walbro pump and 30#ers
Re: Fuel Injector ?
By the time you bought use LS1 injectors and an adjustable regulator you would be pretty well at the cost of just buying some SVOs and doing it right. The SVOs are only about $220 for a set of 8 and are far and away the favorite with tuners.
