Fuel Filter? Which one should I buy?

What kind of fuel filter are you guys using on your LT1s? Also, I was thinking about getting rid of the A/C. Is the 1LE A/C delete bracket and pulley a good idea or not? Is it worth removing the A/C? Any advice you guys can give is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Most fuel filters are pretty much the same, I've used a Puralator filter the last few times I've changed mine, they seem to work fine.

I removed my a/c on mine and used the a/c delete pulley just for weight reduction since I race it a lot but it's not my daily driver. If it's a daily driver I wouldn't recommend removing it unless your a/c system is having problems and it's too expensive too have fixed or something.

I checked out your MODS page. You got a sweet ride. How much do you think the compressor weighs? I noticed are cars are similar in weight. Mine ways in at 3,600 (including me at a 195lbs). I think I'm gonna go with the March crank and A/C delete pulleys also. I need to know what kind of belt I need and a part# would be helpful too. Thanks again.

I didn't weigh everything when I removed the a/c but I think all together it weighs around 30-35lbs. I removed the compressor, condensor (radiator looking part), and all the lines and the evaporator can. I'd say the compressor alone was about 20lbs. I installed the pulley first then later did the a/c delete. I only had to get a new belt for the underdrive pulley, the a/c delete pulley is the same as if the compressor was there. I don't know the exact lentgh but I remember it was around two inches shorter than the stock size. I could check the number on it tonight and get back to you. The weight listed in my mods was actually before I removed the a/c, havn't reweighed it since. Thanks for the compliment
