Question fuel cutting out at 4800 RPM?

Can anyone give any suggestions. My 95 LT1 Z28 M6 seems to be cutting out around 4600-4800 RPM's.Modifications are only exhaust, ported MAF,160 therm.,throttle bypass.I was thinking the rev limiter was around 5500,but I may be wrong. Also could it be as simple as a fuel filter? The car is only driven once a week with 76000 mi.

Hard to say. The fuel filter would be the logical place to start if you've never replaced it. They're like $10 bucks from Napa. The next step would be to check the fuel pressure.

The stock rev limiter is around 6100 if I remember correctly.
