exhaust leak at egr.

i just installed headers(pacesetter LTs) on my 95 trans am i have a pretty bad leak at the egr tube where it bolts to the header. is there a gasket set that anyone knows of? i heard from someone that the tube was a one time use. he said it was a crush to fit. when i took my manifolds off the tube didnt have a gasket. any help part number ect?

I didn't use a gasket, just high temp RTV. It's been holding well for over 3 years.

Make sure you completely tighten the bolt so it pulls the EGR flange on the header to the flange on the EGR tube. I also used some high temp RTV just to be safe.

Did you use the gasket that came with the headers? I used the Pacesetter EGR gasket and it seems to be holding fine so far.

My kit never came with an EGR gasket. Guess it really doesn't matter now, but it would have been helpful then.
