I bought a fuel Cell made by Charged Air Systems (CAS) for my 94 Z28 and I had to hack up and shorten the Stock Sending unit to get it to fit into the Fuel Cell. The problem now, of course, is the Sending unit dosn't work to great and I don't now I am out of gas until I have about 1/2 gallon left. I called CAS and they said they thougth I had an LS1 car and that they have never had a problem with a LS1 sending unit working with their fuel Cell. So my question is, If i buy a LS1 Sending unit, will it plug into my 94 wiring harness???? Or can I buy an aftermarket Fuel sending unit and wire in a new fuel gauge??? I also have an inline fuel pump, so I don't have a pump in the tank. Any help or suggestions would help a bunch... I hate running out of gas
