FTFORCE.com a.k.a. - Racenetone.com sucks!! (LONG RANT)
I apoligize for the long rant - but I do not want ANYONE else to deal with these schmucks!!!
So, here's the deal. I find this seemingly great website, with very low prices for some of the things I'd like to buy now and in the near future. So, I decide that my first purchase will be a set of EBC greenstuff brake pads ( I barely passed inspection with the brakes I have now) and a solid piece driveshaft loop.
On Thursday May 8th - I go through their website and purchase the brake pads and the driveshaft loop. The money for the parts is taken from my account that very second!!
Ok, they have a banner on their homepage that reads:
Complete Online Catalog & Secure Ordering. Shipping only $9.99* *MOST ITEMS LEAVE SAME-DAY IF ORDERED BEFORE
3:00 PM! Or next day if ordered after 3:00 PM! (weekdays).
So, i fugured that I would have to wait a week or maybe until Monday May 19th. So, I try to call the phone number listed on the website on Thu the 15th to get a status update and maybe a tracking number for the order. The voicemail I listen to says that if you have ANY requests at all to e-mail the company and someone will respond to you. But, if you chose to leave a voicemail, someone would not listen to it until the next business day. So, I go to leave a voicemail. I hear this message "This voice mailbox is full. Thank you for calling" and it hangs up on me.
So, I start sending 3 e-mails on the 15th to the company, and 2 on the 17th. I get this automated response back to all 5 e-mails:
***This is a quick message to all customers and those seeking technical assistance. We have completed the move to our new location and will now continue answering e-mail and begin getting our reps in to the new call center here in south FL. We appreciate your patience should you need help with an order or technical help. Please also note that if you have been waiting for tracking numbers, since we have outsourced several of our orders
for the past 2-3 weeks, some distributing warehouses have not yet given our tracking numbers even if the item has shipped since last week. UPS ground will take from 5-7 days to deliver. We will also be clearing the e-mail server, as we do have hundreds of outdates messages in there from our interruption in service due to the move. This is the purpose of our reply. If you have any questions, please resend a short message and our reps are
ready to help.***
Well...................... alrighty then.
Well, in two later e-mails - I actually got a response other than automated.
They basically said that my order was outsourced to another company and they will send me any information on my order as soon as they get it.
IS THIS A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS??
Well, if I do not get my parts by the end of next week, (3 weeks later) I am going to deal with my bank and charge the company with Internet fraud. I contacted my bank already last week, when I got all the automated e-mails, and could not call the company. The bank sent me an affadavit to fill out. I'll complete their form, include all the e-mails I have saved during this whole fiasco, and send it back to the bank. The bank says that within 5-7 business days, they will either get the company to overnight the items or cancel the order and refund my money. If my bank cannot get a hold of anyone @ the company (like I couldn't for 2 weeks) they will refund my money for the order - and then go after the company themselves! HAA!! PAYBACK!!
Thank god for cool banks!

That sucks man!! Tough luck! Thanks for the heads up, though! I found these guys a while back when I first got my car. Never ordered anything from them, as I got stuff used, but they had great prices.
Too bad they seem to be another racenet.net from what I hear about those guys.

I just looked at their site and they are racenet.net they just changed their name. It was in the contact area and there is a message that states how racenet is always looking for the best prices to stay ahead of the competition. I guess when 100 percent of your income is profit because you never fill orders its easy to stay ahead of the competition.
I live 2 mins. away from them and paid a visit them. I found out its just a small company that realy doesn't have that much in the ware house and usually orders straight from the factory thats why it takes so long. They also don't know much about the basics of cars they just know how to sell the parts. When i went there to pick up a timing chain they didn't have any but since I came in I got it in four days by mail. Its when you order off the internet is when you can wait till your just about purple in the face. I am sure you will get your parts but I would not wait over 3 weeks.
Here is something fun they build engines and I was watching them they but a stock timing chain on a lt1 409. What kind of sh#t is that a guy just paid 7 grand for it and they put cheap parts on it.

I ordered a set of gears from them and waited almost a month before cancelling the order and getting my money back through my bank. I purchased the parts from ultimatefbody.com, another one of "racenet one's" names. They have a bad record with the better business bureau and I would not recommend that anyone purchase parts from them. Many people I have talked to have had similar bad experiences with the company as well. Hopefully this time they will be investigated and possibly shut down (I filed complaints with the better business bureau and the Florida division of consumer services).
