Which FREE mods are worthwhile ?

Which of the free mods are worth doing to a 95 Z w/M6 ? I've read on this forum before that some of the free mods do more harm then good, so which ones are worth it and wont screw up my car? Also any one have links or guides of how to do some of the free mods?

ive had zero problems after the tb bypass, descreen maf and port maf, you can also cut the side of the stock air box off and get a better filter, then do the free ram air scoop under the air box. just a safe start.

AIR removal and EGR removal free up a little space in the engine compartment, but that is about the only thing you will gain. Descreening the MAF is a bad idea also, the factory MAF is more than enough for all your needs (unless you plan on getting a 500rwhp engine soon). The free mods won't make any noticable difference as fas as hp is concerned, and in my opinion, don't do much more than just freeing up a little space under the hood. The only free mod worth doing is porting and polishing the heads on your own, but that isn't exactly the easiest thing to do.

Doing the Throttle Body bypass is about the only free mod that is not heavily debated. The rest, like descreening/porting/polishing you MAF all have their pros and cons. Just make sure you do plenty of research (via the search function) before you do anything.

Don't forget about the Throttle Body Coolant Bypass!!! I Agree... leave the MAF alone...it is just fine as is, unless you plan on running some serious HP!!
