Free mods questions

1. Do you actually gain anything from !MAF and the TB bypass?

2. Is it a good thing to do?

3. If I do eitherone, will it set off any codes?

1.) As far as I know, no one has a dyno graph of any MAF screen removal/ported results and/or gains. Most feel its worth 1 or 2; nothing major.

The throttle body bypass is the best of the free mods, and has dynoed +7 rwhp from http://www.ws6.com Very good modification.

2.) Some people have had all kinds of problems attributed to porting/descreening the MAF, while others have nothing but good things to day. It seems as though it is hit or miss. I have descreened mine, and it runs superb.

3.) Neither one will set a code.
