"Free" LT1 mods...what are they??

I know with my L98 TPI there are a dozen or so "free" modifications you can do. Cutting the airbox, remove MAF screens, port plenum, etc, etc. So what, if any, are the "free" mods that you can do to the LT1. I would imagine removing the MAF screens would still apply, but what else. As I have said before, my wifes convertible is my first experience with a LT1, so I feel like I'm starting all over again! LOL. Any tips and advice here would be great. Thanks!

Tbody Bypass is one of the first easy mods to do.

Thanks, that's also a L98 "free" mod. That shouldn't be a problem. Anyone else have anything?

I have done a search with not alot of results. From what I have seen the tb bypass is the way to go. !cags doesn't apply to me, and !air and !egr is something I may look at this winter. I never noticed anyone mention any hp numbers when doing the egr and air mods, but I did notice everything from 5-10rwhp for the tb. Depending on which thread you read of course. So I don't think I will be doing the !air and !egr. I will be cutting the cat, actually I'm gonna take it off and run some pipe, no emissions here!

Well there are the EGR and AIR like you listed, capping off the resonator tube (intake elbow), moving the IAT sensor, throttle body bypass, cutting the airbox, descreen MAF, and I'm sure a few more I can't remember. As far as performance, the TB bypass is the only one that I know provides dyno proven performance (except maybe cutting the airbox). The AIR and EGR are mainly removed because people get headers without the provisions to hook them up, it also saves weight by removing them. I doubt either provides any power increase.
