Thumbs up

They're fine for filtering, but don't flow quite as much air as a K&N, Holley, etc. Personally, if you don't feel a need for 5-10 extra horsepower, don't waste your money on a K&N. I own one myself, but still, if you don't care about a little extra flow, I'd go with the Fram.

I use Fram filters on all my cars. Not the TA, though, because I have a CAI. Get a cheap air filter and save the money to get a CAI. One of the best first mods for one of these cars.

IMHO filters that flow more air, must flow more dirt. Go to the track and test out a K&N, then do another run with a stock replacement. I bet there won't be any differences. Most of the HP gained in those FIPK's is the actual tubing to the filter. Anyone agree with me or am I stupid? I use stock AC-Delco replacements.

I'm gonna stick to K&N, just cause I've used them for so long now. Just clean, re-oil, and re-use. .....AND.....everyone and their granny has a K&N so it MUST flow more....lol

If I were to use a paper filter, it would probably be a Fram.
