Which FPR to get?
Which FPR to get?
I was looking at these FPRs and wonder which 1 should I get/will work on my car. http://www.magnumforceracing.com/mag...Control%20Unit.
Re: Which FPR to get?
If you are using the stock fuel rail setup and stock return line configuration, you need a fuel pressure regulator made specifically to fit in the end of the LT1 fuel rail. None of the ones you linked is LT1-specific. They also appear to be "bypass" type, and those are generally used with a "dead-end" system, like the one used on the LS1 F-Bodys. The LT1 has a full flow FPR on the return line, so there is no "bypass" required.
If you've altered your fuel rails and supply and return lines to braided S/S, with -AN fittings, you could use one of the "Fuel Injection" models... but they describe them as "bypass" type, and as noted, that's not the system used in the LT1. If you need something other than stock..... I can give you a link to a Weldon AFPR that will work in a full-flow "return" controller. I've run it with a total of 410 lph pump capacity, and 800HP off the rails with a 300-shot of dry nitrous.
The stocker's actually adequate up to about the 500HP level, then you need to start looking at something else. How far over 500HP are you?

You just don't want to attempt to "tune" the engine using an AFPR.
