Found out what my SES light was.. need help

I got the car scanned and it said Code 63 which from shoebox's site says passenger side o2 sensor (open circuit) does that mean that a wire is shorting or something?

We watched what the o2s were doing and the drivers side would stay pretty consistent in the 120's while the passenger would go from 125 to 4 to 800 to 600 to 4 to 800.. and when the passenger side hit 4 the drivers side would spike all of a sudden..

so any help interpretting this info would be awesome.. Im at school til friday so there isnt much I can do now but collect data and maybe peek around under the hood for anything that doesnt look right.

Sounds like to me you have a bad sensor. I'd start with replacing the O2 sensor and go from there....

"open circuit" means there is no connection.... not a short. Sensor could be burned out, or the wiring could be disconnected or damaged.

Shoebox has a photo of a 1995 wiring harness on his website, and the complete PCM wiring diagrams... that would be a good place to start:

so yeah that seems to be the problem there in that loom that goes down along the headers containing the knock sensor, o2 sensor, etc... any idea on what would be the easiest or most efficient approach on replacing that?
