Found my running rich/fouling plug problem.

For the past year and a half, my car was running really rich. Basically bogging the car down and following plugs after 500 miles. After i did my motor, i went with NGKtr6's at .35 gap for my nitrous application. I ran data logs on the car and everything pretty much seemed in order. My BBK TB spring was really loose(tighted 2 inches out of it) and that fixed my stuck throttle problem. So after changing o2's, tps, iac....I fianlly started from stratch and put in autolight 104 stock copper plugs. The thing fired up and ran so smooth and quiet and i couldnt belive it. I doesnt buck while driving, load up, fill oil with fuel ect..

The car is a lot quieter(as quiet as LT's and bullets can be) and pulls perfect to 7k. I never thought that plugs would be the problem cause so many people use them in this same application. But when i do spray, i may go with a tr55 and mess with the gap. Ill be running between 150-200 shot on the car. But for now, im just going to enjoy the thing as it's intended.

A huge thanks goes to SHBOX for his website and replys in threads. And to camaroz28.com and the members for saving me a ton of money and time while building and troubleshooting my car.

That's very interesting. I used NGK TR6 plugs (one heat range colder) with a HOTcam and ported heads with no problem for a year.

Glad you found and fixed the issue.
