Found a busted thread on the head

Well, I was going to bolt the intake up on my heads today and I noticed that one of the intake bolt holes in the head had a thread that almost fell apart upon touch...
(Side note, I didn't ruin the thread, They are ported and polished and I also bought the cores...I thought the porter checked the threads but apparently not)

So now there's almost no sign of any threads in there....good thing I checked so I didn't bolt it up and started my rebuilt engine with alu chavins in the lifter gallery...

What would be the best thing to do?
Heli coil or try and rethread it with something a little bigger than 3/8?
(intake bolt = 3/8"-16)

I dont like aluminium...its so soft...And I thought that I was finally going to be able to put the lid on the engine today...but no...mr murphy was here.

You are using a metric heli-coil? The factory threads are 3/8-16.

Yes I know, couldn't find 3/8-16 heli coil on a short notice so that's what I can get right now and I want to get it together pretty soon in order to attend an event here....
