Found this box under dash.. alarm?
Yesterday I was working on the '93 I just bought and I found these two devices which I'm not too sure about.
One of them is small and has "shock sensor" written on it. I'm assuming this is for an alarm. The battery was dying, but I saw it blink once. The other box is a bigger one and has Q-Start written on it.Could this be a remote start or something like that?
The previous owner didn't even know there was an alarm on this car
so I'm not sure if I should keep this stuff and try to find a remote for it, or should I remove it.

Aftermarket alarm. May have been installed by the dealer. Some dealers do this automatically, then add a bundle to the sticker price ($500 or more). You can buy something similar for about $100.
Unless you have the remotes to use it, remove it. Mine would set and trigger itself in the middle of the night - the routine got old very quick. Be carefull, make sure you reconnect any breaks in the factory wiring, if any.
A buddy bought a used '94 from a dealer, and later had to do some work on the car. He disconnected the battery during the work, and afterwards, the car wouldn't start. Turns out the car had an aftermarket alarm with an ignition cut out.

The Q start is an Avital (Clifford) remote start. The 2nd picture is of the shock sensor for the alarm. Avital is pretty decent stuff and it would be worth the 20 bucks to buy a remote; you'll have an alarm and remote start.

Where would I find a remote for it and how do I match it to the current setup?
Call up DEI ( www.dei.com ), give them any info you can find/read from the brain. Tell them you need a remote and installation/user guides. With the remote/guides, youll be able to program the new remote(s) fairly easily...
Nine Seven is right.
Be prepared to wear yourself out; it's been a while since I've reprogrammed an Avital remote but I do remember how to get into programming mode I think: Door open, turn key on then off 5 times leave key on 5th time. Flip the valet switch on and off 13 times. Sheesh.
