Heh my friends convinced me to trade my eclipse for a 94 Formula. Boy am I glad they did. But now I got problems. Only had the car for a few months and it's running like junk. It seems to be missing really bad. It runs ok with a little gas and still runs like a raped ape a WOT. But any thing in between and it sounds like a diesel. I changed all the plugs and wires... it help perfomance but no the problem. I've got a mild oil leak coming from around the front main seal. I've been reading that this could have messed up my optispark... I'm stumped so any input would be great. oh yea no check engine light on either.

You might check your coil also, but with an oil leak it could be the opti.


Any ideas how many miles are on the opti?

 

I'm thinking it's never been changed so around 100,000.
