Flywheel Removal Problems

For the life of me, I cant get the factory flywheel off, those bolts are on there tight! Everything else has gone fairly well, and smooth, until this. Also, the factory wheel has heat marks in it, and very very small hairline cracks, is this normal? The car had the original clutch in it, and the disk and pressure plate were worn pretty bad. Anyways, thanks for the input...

That's normal. Needs resurfacing. Use some of that liquid wrench stuff. Some peopel recommend something called PB Wrench when I asked a while ago.

I had the same problem when I did my clutch a couple weeks ago. I ended going out and buying a flywheel turner. (took me awhile to find one too). Pretty neat tool though, hooks on to the flywheel pull it one way and the bolts the other....worked great.

Impact

1/2 inch impact works everytime to get the bolts out.
