Flushed Radiator, now got small problem.

I flushed the radiator and engine coolant today in my 93' Z. I flushed all the nasty's out of it and all was well. I have done this before and never had a problem. I changed the thermostat, flushed the system, added the proper amount of anti-freeze and engine coolant but now the little red light saying I have low engine coolant comes on when i start it up. This had previously not come on. So I added some more coolant and its still on. I think I heard about this being a problem after flushing the system on these cars, and after a few starts it went away. But i was just checking out what you guys on here would think. Thanks

Cory

There junk. I had to unplug mine till I buy a new one because that light on the dash is very irritating. Buy a new one because it's probably faulty. I'd say unplug it like I did but you never know when it might come in handy.

It is most likely your low coolent sensor. They are not hard to replace, and don't cost much. If its the same sensor that came from the factory it is problably it, It is a plastic square thing with a metal retainer clip located on the radiator If I remember right it is on the passanger side about 2/3's up.
