Those are nice numbers at nice, engine/street friendly rpms...Thats a great street/strip set up that should be a blast to drive...I don't know the specs of the LE stuff, but I'm thinking its a relatively smallish cam and these motors love those...Now go have fun!

Dan is superb at tuning LT1s. You asked about Speed Inc. My car was tuned at Speed Inc by its previous owner. I have the receipt and Graph. I was dissappointed with it's economy and midrange power. I took it to Dan based on past experience. I went from 15-18 MPG to 20-24MPG. He also bumped my Numbers to SAE Corrected HP/TRQ 299/323 with headers and CAI, no cats, Midas exhaust, and 4.10 10 bolt. I was very pleased. It took him 4 pulls to get dead on and offered to do more, I declined.
Once the 385 was done, I drove it there (3 hours) got ~18 MPG, He changed the tune before pulling it, made two pulls and have the AFR dead on for my liking. (13:1). Very pleased with FLP professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm. I don't like Insurance companies (they prevent you from being in the shop due to liability) though. My car has done nothing but satisfy my right foot since. I am planning on getting back on the rollers to finesse the tune with my nitrous setup now. I expect to employ 125-200 hp of gas once done. (Don't know how the cam will respond yet, will let the numbers decide) I also need to buy a new diff before that. I'm confident that the 10 bolt will argue with the power level. I also learned right away that my tach can't keep up, so I had to add a new tach in my pillar.
I am very please with all aspects of this build so far. 21XX miles on it.

As for Price, I built it myself and shopped for a year to get nice deals and prices. I spent $4500 for every part under the hood, including the MSD distributor. Since we have a full machine shop, the machine work was free of cost out of pocket. Our street rate for the machining would have been $450 for block prep, $150 for the Re-Balance (eagle was just a little off), and $500 for assembly. That's about it...

It varies on your car and it's setup. $275 I think I paid but not sure, can't find the reciept, could have been less.

I believe you are correct on the advertised price. I did find my receipt, and it is extremely possible it cost me less than that. It is based on how long it takes for some shops. Dan had my AFR and spark dead on in two pulls. Even took it around for a while double checking drivability. I'm very happy and look forward to returning to get the tune checked with nitrous next time.
