270-280 is doable, I don't know if the board got on your case for that. Now 300cfm guys are going to scream about.

I've seen some other LT1's flow 275cfm @ .500

TEA Lists those Stage 3 heads to flow:

Flow Data
LT1 Stage 3
Lift Intake Exhaust
.100 68.1 58.0
200 138.1 122.3
.300 200.0 176.9
.400 245.5 210.7
.500 278.6 228.8
.550 286.9 233.8
.600 290.4 241.5
.700 290.4 255.7

Good numbers on those heads Rocky. Even if they don't do the 290cfm that they say, 283cfm is still a nice LT1 head. Everything I've seen from TEA is a nice head.

BTW some of Lloyds heads have done 280+cfm on TEA's bench.

I think the numbers in question were the exhaust not the intake from what I remember el Breto.

Precisely. Those exhaust numbers are pretty unbelievable.

I ran TEA heads for the last two years. Remember that the heads are flowed with a pipe on the exhaust side. That makes the numbers alot nicer to look at.

Yep, they flow heads with a pipe on the exhaust and almost every TEA head flows like a banshee on the exhaust. That help sir Mookster?

Does anyone have numbers or has anyone ever seen the exhaust numbers without a pipe on a head from TEA.

I was just wondering ,because they seem like a good forced induction head from the numbers, (not that flow sheets are everything) but you can't really compare them to other stuff because of the pipe. Does anyone have exhaust numbers with NO pipe.

Re: Flow Numbers from my TEA Stage 3 LT1 Heads

I found this thread through a search, because I have been wondering the same thing myself. I wondered why the exhaust on TEAs heads was WAY out flowing all of the other heads.

Any clue how much that pipe increases flow, so you can compare to other heads on the market?

Re: Flow Numbers from my TEA Stage 3 LT1 Heads

"The Highlander" flowed a set of AFR 210RR's with a pipe and got ~275 exhaust cfm, while my 210RR's flowed 218 exhaust with no pipe. So, you might assume about a 55 cfm gain with the pipe, but I'm sure each exhaust port design differs in how much it gains.

Re: Flow Numbers from my TEA Stage 3 LT1 Heads

55cfm is a huge gain for flowing with a pipe.... I wouldn't expect anything close to that..... Gotta do it on the same bench with the same head to compare...

Remember a flow bench doesn't win races.
