Re: Fix that water pump shaft leak for good!!!
Unless its the water pump drive shaft.
My car leaked oil from the seal when i bought it. After replacing it 3 times over two years it kept leaking. I finally took it to a friend who knows LT1s very well and works as a tech at a chevy dealership. He replaced it himself and again it leaked. Turned out to be the water pump driveshaft was worn out and wobbled slightly enlarging the seal.
Put a new one on and i have been oil leak free for 5 years
