Angry First time dyno, Got to be the lowerst head cam numbers EVER!

Ok, Today I got my car dynoed for the first time.

Mods are:

CC305 cam
Ported LT1 heads( flow simular to LT4) Peak 255CFM
1.6 RR
JH long tubes
PCM for less
Headers
All the bolton crap

Stock 3.23 gears

EDGE 3400 converter

Here is a link to the dyno sheet: Might have to copy and paste.

My shift points are currently set at 6000, But I see I will need to be raising them. The weather was hot and muggy, about 90 degrees. Do high stalled cars always dyno this low?? I was guessing about 330 RWHP. But I was way off I guess what I don't understand is how a car that runs 12.3 at full weight can only have 277R RWHP. I didn't have the converter locked up. Just really dissapointed.

Good lord man! And to think I was complaining about my 259hp/298tq on my CAI and cat-back car. I know Mustang dyno's always dyno a lot lower than DynoJets, but that can't be right at all.

There's something wrong with the Dyno if you ran a 12.3 at the track. Like Valkyn said, the track doesn't lie. Maybe the fact that its a Mustang Dyno? Just throwin out ideas.

Ya the time in the sig is with these current mods. Ran that time about a month ago. I trapped 109.89 MPH with street tires too.

By looking at the graph you done it on a mustang dyno which numbers will be lower then a dyno jet run. If you running low 12s then yes, does number don't add up.

Well I got there late and was the last to dyno. The highest was a 95z with a blower at 400 even I think. There was a cammed TA with stock heads pulling 330. I think my stall has something to do with it. I was surprised to see my peak was at 6000RPM. I thought it would have peaked before that.

I don't know much about dynoing automatic cars, but it would seem like with a high stall, you'd be putting down some massive torque numbers, especially in the lower rpms. My graph starts at 2500, and my torque was about 285 or so then, and finally peaked at 3700 just shy of 300.

Maybe your tires were slipping like hell on the dyno. No way 12.3 equates to those low numbers

Well judging by how loose your converter is.. Its not really surprising.. Was your verter locked? or unlocked? The dyno is for tuning purpose's.. Track is the tell all end all..
