I had some noisy rockers But I got that taken care of and had a custom 3in Y-Pipe with dual QTP electric cutouts angled toward each side. My god this thing sounds mean when I open those things up, but sounds incredibly mellow when they are closed and it has to go through the flowmaster.

Ya, scared the **** out of me. Figured something was wrong internally, but after I thought it all out I knew it had to be timing, especially considering it backfired through the intake at one point.

I bought the kit used from a board member, who I need to PM and ask why the hell he didnt tell me that two of the coils were swapped and they were all number backwards, for example

his were labeled
Coil 1 - 3, 2
Coil 2 - 5, 8
Coil 3 - 7, 4
Coil 4 - 1, 6

they should have been labled like this
Coil 1 - 8, 5
Coil 2 - 2, 3
Coil 3 - 4, 7
Coil 4 - 6, 1


as you can see, the firing order was WAAAY off. I am glad it didnt do anything though!

Awesome! I taped my first startup too, I just need to stream it to the computer from the camcorder. I think it was around 11:00PM too, but I had my exhaust hooked up -- still loud as hell

I have your cam, lifters, and RR. Great setup. Do you get any cam surge under 1800 RPM?
