First start on new motor video, come watch!

I put together a lil video showing what I thought was going to be the first starts then the first start then the thing idling. its 10mb, but if you have a good connection i suggest you watch it.

If you have a crappy connection these are a bit smaller short clips of it idling

Lemme know what you guys think. The valve train seems a bit loud, but I think it is just the components I am using.

BTW-everyone that lives around my mother is old and bitchy, i've gotten chewed twice already

That sound good with the 306 in it. What are you going to use for exhaust?
If they were new lifters you may want to go back and ajust them after you've ran it. My cars valve train was noisy after my cam install with new lifters, reajusted them after they were primed and sound good. Good luck

Re: First start on new motor video, come watch!

the problem wasnt with delteq. i bought the kit slightly used and every single label was wrong, 2 coils were swapped and the whole thing was backwards. so i had every single plug wire off.

i think i am going to reset the valves tomorrow. it sucks because everyone around my moms house hates me and the car, hard to get anything like valve adjustments done.

i think i am going to drive it to the muffler shop then weld everything up, then set the valves while its running.

Very cool video.

I was cracking up, hearing you when you were first trying to start it when the coils were messed up.
